Inspirato is pleased to offer a virtual wine tasting hosted by Yours Truly, Wine and founder and tastemaker Amy Martino Phinny on Friday, December 1 at 5 p.m. MT/ 7 p.m. ET.

A chef by nature and entrepreneur by trade, Amy has worked as a sommelier and restaurateur with over 20 years of fine wine experience.

Join Amy for an aperitivo, where you will taste three limited production wines from Tuscany, Umbria, and Le Marche, while learning how to make three easy, authentic, and delicious Italian appetizers that will wow your guests for your next happy hour, holiday feast, or dinner party.

We have two options for our Wine Tasting Kit. The first option includes six limited production wines—two of each varietal to make sure you’re stocked up for the holidays—including sparkling, red, and white from the regions of Le Marche, Umbria, and Tuscany. The annual production for this shipment comes out to 305 cases per vintage.

  • Prosciutto con fichi ripieni (prosciutto with stuffed figs); paired with the Le Senate Rosé
  • Olive marinate veloci (speedy marinated olives); paired with Madrevite Elvé
  • Pizzette (little pizzas); paired with Capitoni Orcia

Ingredients:

Prosciutto con fichi ripieni

12 ripe Figs

6 ounces Gorgonzola cheese, room temperature

2 tablespoons walnuts, chopped

Honey to drizzle on top

8 ounces Prosciutto di Parma, thinly sliced

Olive marinate veloci

1pound assorted olives

¼ cup EVOO

2 bay leaves

2 teaspoons red chili flakes

Pinch of black pepper

Pinch of fennel seeds

Pinch of Sicilian Dried Oregano

2 Garlic Cloves, peeled

3 Strips of Lemon Zest, twisted

Splash of aged balsamic vinegar

Pizzette

1 puff pastry sheet, thawed,

6 ounces imported Italian tomato paste

3 tablespoons EVOO

Pinch of sea salt

Pinch of red chili pepper flakes

Large pinch of Italian dried oregano

1/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
